After the defeat against Paul, the 34-year-old lost to Arthur Fils in the Montpellier Open and Hubert Hurkacz in the ATP Rotterdam Open. The experienced Spaniard will look to turn things around in the Qatar Open. He is the defending champion as he won the title last year by defeating Nikoloz Basilashvili in the final.
