Top seeded team of Jessica Pegula & Coco Gauff face the 2nd-seeded team of Lyudmyla Kichenok & Jelena Ostapenko in the finals of the Qatar Open on Friday.

The impressive team of Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff made it to the semifinals of the Australian Open. They lost to Ena Shibahara and Shuko Aoyama in straight sets.
In the round of 16 of the Qatar Open, Pegula and Gauff made light work of Xu Yifan and Tereza Mihalikova, winning the match in straight sets 6-4, 6-0. The American duo followed it up with another solid performance against the team of Erin Routliffe and Alicja Rosolska. They won the match 6-2, 7-6 (7-3). In the semis, Gauff and Pegula took on the 4th-seeded team of Zhang Shuai and Giuliana Olmos. Gauff and Pegula outplayed their opponents and won the match in straight sets 6-1, 6-3.
Lyudmyla Kichenok & Jelena Ostapenko
Kichenok and Ostapenko reached the semifinals of the WTA Finals last year and they already made it to two semifinals this year at the Adelaide International 1 and Aledaide International 2 events.
In the round of 16 of the Qatar Open, Ostapenko and Kichenok defeated the team of Karolina Muchova and Sofia Kenin in straight sets 6-3, 7-6 (7-3). The Latvian-Ukrainian duo went on to beat the Taiwanese pair of Latisha Chan and Chan Hao-ching 7-5, 6-1 in the quarterfinals. Ostapenko and Kichenok served quite well in the match and converted 6 out of 11 break points. Ostapenko and Kichenok managed to come back from a set down to defeat the team of Vera Zvonareva and Yang Zhaoxuan in the semifinals. The match ended 1-6, 6-3, 10-6 in favor of Ostapenko and Kichenok.
Prediction: Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula to win in three sets.
