Earlier in August last year, the ruling government’s public company, Ports de les Illes Balears, had authorized the Porto Cristo Nautical Club to remodel the port’s moorings in favour of Nadal.

The remodelled moorings will now allow World No.2 and to tie up his new and spectacular catamaran.

Nadal already on board

With the coronavirus restrictions eased in Spain currently, Nadal recently stepped inside his brand-new catamaran along with wife Xisca Perello and family.

With the ATP having suspended all tennis-related activities until next month, Nadal like many of his fellow stars has been spending his free time with his wife and family in his native Mallorca.

Born in the Balearic island in Spain, Nadal has always had a special affection with the sea and could not wait long to climb on board of his new boat. Among the many luxuries attached to the boat, another significant one is the dining area on the main deck and a bar on the upper deck.

Nadal was recently ranked 27th in the list of world’s highest-paid athletes in 2020, according to Forbes. He earned $40million last year, of which $14million came through prize money and $26million from endorsements.
