Here is everything you should know about the spin-off game of the popular game Rainbow Six Siege called Rainbow Six Extraction.
Rainbow Six Extraction was first shown off at E3 2019 under the name Rainbow Six Quarantine. In June 2021, Ubisoft officially changed the game’s title to Rainbow Six Extraction in order to separate the game from the continuing COVID-19 pandemic’s real-world quarantines. Despite the name change, little was known about Rainbow Six Extraction until the Ubisoft Forward at E3 2021, when the game was featured in a longer gameplay sample that disclosed fresh details about the game’s storyline and the Archaens, the game’s mysterious parasitic extraterrestrial enemies.
Rainbow Six Extraction’s release date was just leaked by Ubisoft, however, it has yet to be officially confirmed. That leak appears to be accurate, since it will be released on January 20, 2022, according to a tweet from Rainbow Six Extraction’s account.
Rainbow Six Extraction will be released on console and PC and the same time. The game will be released for Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Luna and Stadia. Ubisoft has also revealed that the game will support cross-play and cross-save between all platform families since day one. That is welcome news for all players as they can enjoy the game anywhere.
Extraction seeks to spice things up by requiring three Operators to work together in full-on PVE action to knock down waves of infected enemies. During the Ubisoft Forward event at E3 2021, a deep dive teaser was released, showing the community a lot of what they can expect from Rainbow Six Extraction. Rainbow Six Extraction will also contain at least 18 Operators, similar to the system featured in Rainbow Six Siege, and each will have their own set of skills.
Fans are excited about the new FPS shooter game. This is an overwhelming time for gamers with so many FPS games releasing right now. You can play Rainbow Six Extraction from 20 January 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Luna, and Stadia.
