Randy Orton’s fangs are out as WWE manage to mess up WrestleMania 36 poster

WWE’s WrestleMania 36 poster did not feature Randy Orton or Edge

WrestleMania 36 will be held without the fans but WWE seems to have gotten Randy Orton angry.

The big event won’t be the same without the fans, but that is the price we have to pay due to the coronavirus pandemic.

WWE is shifting all personnel to the Performance Center which will host all shows for the foreseeable future.

However, the promotion still has to do their big of pushing WrestleMania which will now be a two-day event.

Orton has a big match at WrestleMania 36 against Edge but WWE for some reason just isn’t pushing that.

They shared a poster which featured their newest signing Rob Gronkowski, who will also host the two-day event.

Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch, John Cena and Drew McIntyre were the others in the poster.

This left many fans confused and Orton too.

Another blunder by WWE

WWE has made it a bit of a habit of messing up promotions and fight cards. Allowing Goldberg to come in and beat The Fiend at Super Showdown didn’t go down all that well, and Reigns getting the title shot was also a little questionable.

However, Orton being skipped from the poster certainly got the Viper upset. The former champion said this poster was wrong in several ways and was going to “count” the ways.

This isn’t the first time Orton has taken a swipe at WWE or a wrestling promotion. However, the Viper is justified with his reaction this time around.

Granted Gronkowski joining is a big story but he has no proper WWE experience. Pushing him into the centre makes things even crazier given that he only just signed for the company.

WWE miss the big story

The Gronk might need to be pushed but certainly, they could have put Orton and Edge into this. Cena coming into the frame is still fine but how could they skip out The Fiend?

Wyatt has produced a fantastic character that should be highlighted more but WWE buried The Fiend already after the squash against Goldberg.

Similarly, they seem to be missing the big picture with Orton and Edge. The Viper going against Edge will bring the house down at WrestleMania 36.

It sees two of the best workers go head-to-head and their rivalry is intriguing at the moment. Orton has been at his best by attacking Beth Phoenix and almost becoming an anti-hero by saying he tried to save Edge by hitting him with a couple of chairs.

Edge, for his part, looks like a savage animal and wants to take Orton out, especially after the RKO to Phoenix.

This is the match that WWE should have pushed, apart from the McIntyre vs Lesnar and Lynch vs Shayna Baszler championship clashes.

The Universe gave a huge pop to Edge on his Royal Rumble return, and that should have continued on till WrestleMania.

Of course, not having fans in the arena at the moment does tone down the reactions, but you get the idea.

Edge might not have wrestled a competitive match for a long time, but he and Orton could tear the house down.

This match has all the ingredients of being something special, especially since it is a Last Man Standing match.

Hopefully, WWE realises the error of their ways and fixes its next set of promotional material. Else, the Viper will be biting hard again.
