Magne
Ragnarok concludes on an emotionally charged note, as Magne is given a text message from Signy (Billie Barker) whom he began dating during Season 2. Unfortunately, they now seem to have parted ways due to Magne being preoccupied with stopping Jutul from destroying Edda and has sought help from friends such as Harry (Benjamin Helstad reincarnated of Norse God of War Tyr). Benjamin Helstad is a veteran Norwegian actor known for roles such as Dead Snow Wild Men and Lilyhammer among many others.
Magne has difficulty fitting in with his surroundings, particularly at high school administration level. Fjor and Ran frequently mock him while his relationship with Gry is unstable. After going to Jutulheim with Saxa he and Fjor find an injured and wounded Fjor and Ran; after much intercourse, they make contact again before Laurits, who is part Jutul, strikes a deal that leads to peace between gods and giants based on Norse mythology regarding Jarnsaxa/Thor’s son Modi/Modi
Fjor
Ragnarok, a Norwegian fantasy drama with a modern take on Norse mythology, has returned with its third and final season! As in previous installments, this epic showdown pitting gods versus giants takes place in Edda, with David Stakston as Magne Seier, an Edda high school student with powers similar to Thor. Laurits Seier serves as his younger half brother reincarnating Loki while Theresa Frostad Eggesbo as Saxa; Synnove Macody Lund as Ran and Herman Tommeraaas as Fjor complete this ensemble cast.
Blending ancient Nordic myth with contemporary coming-of-age narrative, the popular series has won global audiences. This exciting final is sure to thrill viewers, featuring a dramatic battle between Thor and Loki’s reincarnations vying for both world fate and their personal lives. Furthermore, this stunning finale of the series deftly addresses character arcs and morality threads, while offering visionary choices which spark peace between gods and giants.
Saxa
Saxa Jutul is one of the main characters in the series. Born into an elite Jotun family and with mixed heritage heritage – human and Jotun – Saxa enjoys popularity at school but remains arrogant towards others. Her Jotun heritage still takes pride of place within her as well.
Saxa will continue to create trouble for Magne in Season 3. She offered her allegiance, but now the lines have blurred as Laurits competes for his affections and both pursue Jutulheim and Jormungandr, the World Serpent as potential keys.
She will be joined by Fjor and Ran, whose leader Vidar met an untimely demise in Season 2’s finale, as well as Jonas Strand Gravli (Lurits Seier), Loki’s reincarnation and Magne’s half-brother (played by Laurits Seier). With this group at their side and the lethal tapeworm that killed Vidar escaping its host body, Magne and the other reincarnated gods will face an uphill struggle against them all!
Laurits
Laurits Seier is Magne Seier’s younger half-brother, who many believe may also be the reincarnation of Loki – known for being confident and mischievous, similar to his god counterpart Loki. Although often unruly and stubborn, Laurits still tries to help out his brother whenever possible.
He appears to have an affectionate side for Wenche, though only when not being bullied by Ran or being crushed under Saxa’s Old World arrows. He doesn’t hesitate to express his strong opinions and enjoys tease his siblings.
Jonas Strand Gravli plays Laurits on Norwegian television series Ragnarok and is best known for his roles on 22 July, Wild Men, and Wisting. Other cast members in Ragnarok include Gisli Orn Gardarsson as Vidar Jutul, Theresa Frostad Eggesbo as Wenche, Herman Tommeraas as Fjor and Synnove Macody Lund as Ran. Gisli Orn Gardarsson will also appear on Netflix’s third and final season of romantic comedy Skam which will see an epic battle between gods and giants set against Edda as seen through its charming streets and cobblestoned alleyways!
