Redfall gameplay
Redfall is set to be a multi-faceted game that offers players a variety of gameplay experiences. Arkane Studios aims to deliver a rich, immersive single-player story that will take players on a journey through a tourist town that has been overrun by vampires. However, if you prefer to team up with friends, Redfall also offers a co-op mode that promises to be equally rewarding.
As an open-world first-person shooter game, Redfall offers players the freedom to choose their approach to tackling the vampire threat. You’ll encounter undead nests that need to be cleared out, as well as cultist strongholds to take over. Along the way, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore the vast world of Redfall.
One of your main objectives in the game will be to destroy a giant heart in a vampire nest while making a hasty escape before it collapses. But that’s not all – you’ll also be able to establish safehouses in vampire territory and gradually liberate the area from their grasp. Beware of the Siphons, which protect key areas the vampires hold dear.
When you’re ready to take the fight to the next level, you can aim for the Underbosses to earn skulls. These skulls will lead you to face off against the Vampire gods, some of which have sickles for hands and can even emerge from geysers! Characters
Arkane Studios has officially announced the four playable heroes that gamers can choose to play as in Redfall. The developers have promised that each of these characters will have their own unique stories and relationship to the town of Redfall, adding depth and richness to the game.
Devinder Crousley is a well-known paranormal investigator with a significant online presence. As an amateur cryptozoologist and aspiring inventor, Crousley brings his own homemade weapons to the fight against the vampire threat. He is driven by a desire to uncover the truth behind the vampire invasion and stop it at its source.
Layla Ellison is a student at Redfall Technical University who also interned at the Aevum Therapeutics research facility. Something happened during her time there, and she emerged with unexplained telekinetic abilities. She will put these powers to use in the fight against the vampires, determined to save the town and uncover the secrets of her past.
Remi de la Rosa is a combat engineer who previously served as part of an elite Navy rescue team. She arrives in Redfall with her trusty robot companion, Bribón, to aid in the rescue of survivors. Her military training and engineering skills make her a valuable member of the team, and she is willing to risk everything to save the town from the vampire menace.
Jacob Boyer is a former military sharpshooter who was sent to Redfall just before the town was plunged into darkness. Strange events have left him with a mysterious vampiric eye and a spectral raven that never leaves his side. Boyer’s combat skills and unique abilities make him a formidable ally in the fight against the vampires, but he is also haunted by his past and the events that brought him to Redfall.
Redfall story
