Originally from Flowood, Mississippi, He attended Thomasville High school in Georgia where his Basketball career ignited. He was productive and efficient on the court making him one of the top-performing players in his class. Not much is known about his time in High school so it can be said that he was a star player with stellar statistics and received offers from top-tier schools in the country. He also played in the McDonald’s All-American Game in high school. After wrapping up his high school career he committed to playing college basketball for Mississippi State University.
