Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega fought at AEW Full Gear and Renee Young wasn’t pleased with that match
Renee Young reacted to an interview from Jon Moxley regarding the AEW Full Gear match he and Kenny Omega fought.
That was a ‘lights out’ match which featured a lot of weapons, including barb-wire. WWE has tried to tone these matches down in recent years, but they do have the massive TLC pay-per-view on their books.
ECW One Night Only after features some weapons matches, but the days of lots of blood are long gone in WWE.
That isn’t the case with rising promotion AEW and Jon Moxley switched over to them from WWE. He and Omega had a brutal fight at Full Gear with Young not too pleased with how things went.
Young is the wife of Moxley and the AEW star recently participated in an interview by 101WKQX as part of another promotion for his new employers.
Moxley was asked about the reaction from the Full Gear match and claimed that Young was being “over dramatic”.
The former WWE champion went on to say that he had signed a deal with the company and these things are part of the business.
Moxley went on to add that he loved his wife but family members and friends have to learn to deal with some “cringey and weird” moments too.
Young didn’t seem too pleased with these comments too and posted her reaction on Twitter.
Some of the fans also joked that Moxley could be sleeping in the dog house after the interview.
Who is Jon Moxley?
Moxley might be one of the biggest names in AEW but he has a great history with WWE too. Dean Ambrose was part of the Shield alongside Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
He started his career with the Jon Moxley name before taking up the Ambrose one after joining WWE.
Ambrose also picked up the Intercontinental title and US title as a singles competitor.
Rollins and Ambrose were Raw tag team champions but WWE didn’t use Moxley to his full capacity.
Moxley was one of the biggest stars to directly jump ship from WWE to AEW. The former WWE star has also been involved in some big matches in his new company.
He started dating Young in 2013 and married her in 2017. Both are doing extremely well with the WWE announcer being part of several other shows too.
