Rhamondre Stevenson, a running back with the National Football League’s New England Patriots, was born on February 23, 1998. (NFL). The Patriots selected him in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft while he was a college football player at Oklahoma, where he won a bowl game MVP award.
In Las Vegas, Nevada, Stevenson attended Centennial High School. He was named the Las Vegas Sun High School Player of the Year in 2015 as a junior. He finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma as well.
Prior to moving to the University of Oklahoma, Stevenson played two seasons of college football at Cerritos College. He participated in the first 13 games of his debut season at Oklahoma in 2019 before being barred from the 2019 Peach Bowl due to a failed marijuana drug test.
He had six touchdowns and 515 yards on 64 carries by the time the season was through. Six games into the 2020 season, Stevenson was reinstated after serving the ban. In the 2020 Cotton Bowl, he had 18 carries for 186 yards and a touchdown, earning him MVP honors.
The New England Patriots selected Stevenson in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, 120th overall. On May 19, 2021, he committed to a four-year rookie deal with New England.

Stevenson had a breakthrough performance against the Carolina Panthers in Week 9 after seeing little action in the first eight games of the season. He finished with 106 all-purpose yards, including a 41-yard reception on a short out-pattern that helped the Patriots score a touchdown.
However, he later suffered a concussion and had to leave the game. The next week, against the Cleveland Browns, Stevenson was designated the starter since usual starter Damien Harris was out due to a concussion sustained the week before. He gained 100 yards on the ground and added another 14 yards through receptions to help New England win 45-7.
Stevenson continued to lead the club in running in Week 11’s Thursday Night Football game against the Atlanta Falcons. He shared runs with starter Damien Harris and finished with 69 yards on 12 attempts in the 25-0 victory. In week thirteen’s victory over the Titans, he gained 46 yards on nine carries. In Week 14’s run-heavy victory over the Bills, in which the Patriots only threw the ball three times, he carried the majority of the load and gained 78 yards on 24 carries. He continued to play the role of the team’s backup running back, behind starter Harris.

The terms of the deal include an annual salary of $1,057,264 on average, a $749,056 signing bonus, and a $749,056 guarantee.
