Boogs performed under the Ric Boog nickname and also wrestled under different names during his time on NXT.
Boogs also played the role of the Old Spice representative Average Joe/The Nightpanther for some advertisements. He won the 24/7 title twice during this time before getting his move to SmackDown.
Boogs came out as the guitarist playing Nakamura and has accompanied the Japanese star since making his debut on SmackDown on 21 May, 2021. Since then his entrances to the ring have been the same.
He then made his in-ring debut on the 20th of August alongside Nakamura. He teamed up with the Japanese star on SmackDown that night, earning a win over Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez.
A fortnight later, Boogs, accompanied by Nakamura, absolutely starched Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown. He made light work of the WWE veteran in a singles match victory.
