Back in 2010, he was sworn into the USPTA Florida Hall of Fame. A few years later in 2017, he became the youngest ever to be sworn into the USPTA Hall of Fame. In the early 1970s he started his career as a tennis pro and by 1979 he was the No.1 ranked adult player in New Jersey. He started his own coaching academy in 1985.
