In this adrenaline-pumping vertical platformer, you will need to chain combos, jump maneuvers, and develop your talent in order to get out of hell. So to have smooth gameplay and to become the best, you will need the Rising Hell guide because it has the best tips and tricks to guide you.
Whenever you land on a monster, HellBreak will happen. If you have automatic hell break enabled, it kills most monsters and deals high damage to minibosses/bosses. You get different Hellbreak moves and effects when you get different artifacts you get from random artifact demons. This move is useful in a vertically built game that tests you. It’s an awesome feeling to perform this move.
Just double jump when you are below an enemy to perform a Hellbreak. Upon performing an awesome spinning move, your demon character will grant you invincibility and give you air time. This bonus attack is a bonus attack you can perform when you double jump, even if you don’t know how to do it at first.
When you kill enemies, you obtain red souls. You can use these souls to purchase powerups to help you achieve your goals. At the end of a stage, you can choose one out of three powerups available. So, spend your red souls by keeping everything in your mind.
You can use this to get lots of airtime as well as dodge incoming air attacks when you are invincible during a dash. You can combine this with Hellbreak attacks on nearby enemies to stay in the air for as long as you like.
You are completely invincible when you dash, so you can dash right through a boss’s attack, a monster’s attack, or a trap’s beam, and be normal. However, if you come out of your dash while under attack, you will still suffer damage, so you need to know how far your dash throws you.
If you prefer to kill enemies fast, you can buy buffs that amplify your damage when your health is high, or when you perform character-specific animations. In addition, you can add buffs that increase your damage when you are hit or if you hoard tons of red souls. In the end, it depends on your playstyle.
The more levels you reach, the more unlockable things you’ll be able to do as right now there is a 40-level cap. You gain XP whether you win or die when you complete a run. So keep leveling up and unlock useful things to become the best.
If you unlock the powersurge, you can increase your attack damage by 25% when you have 50% life or more. This is the best option and becomes more useful if you are using Zelos or Sydna. This is because they have mid-range attacks that will benefit the Powersurge to work more effectively.
It is highly recommended to visit all the vaults that you find in your rise to the top, unless you are trying to beat the fastest time. You get a tonne of Red Souls as a prize from Avarice Vaults. Powerups are sold by Trickster Vaults, however, unlike the stage-ending prizes, you can purchase all of them if you have enough Red Souls. In addition, health refills are available for a good amount of Red Souls.
As part of Rising Hell, you can achieve some achievements without performing Hellbreaks. The only tip we can give you is to pause the game and press the Right Trigger to disable auto-Hellbreak so that you don’t spam the jump button. This is harder than it sounds. You must just navigate your way to the top like a regular one-jumping action character.
With the help of the Felblade, you can increase your attack power by 1% for each 25 red souls you have. This is a great option if you play as a hoarder. You can give it a try and see if it suits you or not.
