West Ham vs Southampton Predictions: West Ham Predicted Line-up
West Ham United recently notched up what can easily be labelled as one of their biggest wins of the campaign. Their 1-0 win over Tottenham at the Spurs’ new home stadium was a massive statement to the teams around the Hammers regarding their ambitions and abilities.
They now host Southampton in a fixture that could easily go either way given the lack of a serious consequence. While West Ham will be hoping that Watford slip up and concede 10th place, the likelihood of that happening is quite low. This has the makings of an intense fixture with both teams going all out in an attempt to gain all three points.
Team News
Both Andy Carroll and Andriy Yarmolenko have been ruled out for the remainder of the season, owing to similar ankle injuries. Winston Reid’s knee problem means that he will also play no part at least until the start of the next Premier League season.
Summer acquisition Carlos Sanchez has returned to full training after only just recovering from a MCL injury. Javier Hernandez’s illness means that he could be a doubt for this fixture.
Manuel Lanzini and Samir Nasri will be battling the clock to try and make it back to full fitness in time for this league fixture.
