Woods played college football for the USC Trojans football team from 2010-2012. After his college career was over Buffalo Bills picked him in the 2013 NFL Draft as their 2nd round, 41st overall pick. Woods was signed to a four-year $4.86 million contract.
His NFL debut came in the 13-14 season against the New England Patriots. In the same game, he also caught his first-ever NFL touchdown from 18 yards. Woods ended his first year with 40 receptions, 587 yards, and 3 touchdowns in 14 games.
Woods stayed with the Bulls before moving to the Los Angeles Rams in 2017. He was signed to a contract worth $34 million for five years. In his first year, Woods was named as the number one wide receiver on the team. In his first year at the Rams, Woods played in his first-ever playoff game only to lose out to Atlanta Falcons in the Wild Card game.
The very next season Rams reached the Super Bowl with Woods but they faced the New England Patriots led by Tom Brady. The Rams ended up losing the Super Bowl. In 2020 Rams signed Woods to a $65 million contract extension for four years.
