Roger Federer is undergoing self-isolation with his family in his native Switzerland

Despite the ATP suspending all tennis-related activities until June 7, Roger Federer has a new task at hand in the wake of the pandemic coronavirus crisis.

The Swiss maestro presently is at his home with his family undergoing self-isolation as part of the precautionary process required to fight the spread of the virus.

The 20-time Grand Slam winner has also been recovering from a right-knee surgery that he had undergone last month and was not expected to make a return to action until June.

However, with the virus gripping the whole world, it remains to be seen what’s in store for the tennis star.

Meanwhile, the Swiss genius has a new task at hand. He has to take care of his four children – twin couples Myla, Charlene (both 10 years of age), Lenny and Leo (both five) as their nannies quit at the end of June.

They were taking care of his children and had been travelling with them in recent years. However, the new situation has put Federer in quite an unusual spot.

At the moment, Federer has plenty of time in hand with all matches suspended. This is the best opportunity for him and his wife Mirka to search for new successors to their departed nannies.
