Roman Reigns is leading the SmackDown 5-man team at Survivor Series 2019
Survivor Series 2019 is just a few days away and is set to be one of the biggest PPVs in recent years.
Triple H’s inclusion of NXT seems to have upped the stakes between the brands. Raw and SmackDown have to be wary of the new kid on the block, given the quality of talent.
The traditional Survivor Series 5-on-5 matches have been turned triple threat in nature with NXT also in the mix.
Roman Reigns is leading SmackDown’s charge in the men’s match and he has a stacked team too.
Mustafa Ali, Shorty G, Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin are the others that SmackDown have chosen.
However, there is some tension between the stars with Corbin taking a shot at G and Ali recently on SmackDown.
He wanted others to take over the position and in the previous episode, he mocked ‘The Big Dog’ Reigns too.
That seems to have irked Reigns a lot and the former champion shared his thoughts on Twitter.
Reigns ready for the big fight
The SmackDown star claimed he would be beating any star representing NXT or Raw.
Reigns also had some choice words for King Corbin. The Big Dog claimed that he would eliminate his teammate and SmackDown didn’t need him.
The Big Dog isn’t the only one who could get rid of Corbin as Short G and Ali haven’t been on the King’s good books too.
Strowman is the X factor for SmackDown in this clash, and it will be interesting to see how this team gels on Sunday.
Raw has a pretty stacked team too with Seth Rollins leading his men out. They also have the high-flyer Ricochet to battle with Ali.
Kevin Owens and Randy Orton are the other members of team Raw while Drew McIntyre will be the key to taking out Strowman.
NXT not giving much away for Survivor Series
NXT, rather surprisingly, haven’t shared their teams for the women’s and men’s 5-on-5 clashes. They could be waiting for WarGames to be completed before making a decision too.
Most of their stars are in action a day before Survivor Series, and it will be interesting to see who all they pick for the big matches.
Adam Cole is unlikely to feature in the traditional matches as the NXT champion will defend his title against another star on Sunday.
