Rosaria is a 4-star Cryo Polearm character in Genshin Impact. She is a member of the Church of Favonius in Mondstadt. Although you won’t realize that if you saw her attire. She is an unusual woman with sharp, piercing words and a cold manner. Rosaria is really unpredictable and can leave anytime without telling anyone. Rosaria is a 4-star Cryo Polearm user who can deal 1-to-1 damage while also helping her allies offensively. Her elemental talent swiftly applies cryo with a backstab crit bonus, whereas her burst applies a persistent cryo element while passing down the crit rate she has amassed. Rosaria will fit into a wide range of team compositions, whether as a physical DPS, cryo DPS, essential support, or sub-DPS cryo. Her passive increasing movement speed at night, which aids exploration, is the icing on the cake.

Rosaria Best Build Guide

Strengths

• Elemental Skill and Burst is strong against mobs
• Talents provide consistent Cryo DMG and CRIT Rate
• Passive Talent increases party’s Movement SPD at night (18:00-6:00)

Weaknesses

• Elemental Skill does not work against larger enemies and bosses.

Rosaria Talents

Spear of the Church (Normal Attack)

• Normal Attack – Performs up to 5 consecutive spear strikes.

• Charged Attack – Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to lunge forward, dealing damage to enemies along the way.

• Plunging Attack – Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Ravaging Confession (Elemental Skill)

Rosaria swiftly shifts her position to appear behind her opponent, then stabs and slashes them with her polearm, dealing Cryo DMG. This ability cannot be used to travel behind opponents of a larger build.

Rites of Termination (Elemental Burst)

Rosaria’s unique take on this prayer ritual: First, she swings her weapon to slash surrounding opponents; then, she summons a frigid Ice Lance that strikes the ground. Both actions deal Cryo DMG. While active, the Ice Lance periodically releases a blast of cold air, dealing Cryo DMG to surrounding opponents.

Rosaria Best Weapons Build

1. Staff of Homa

Base Attack: 46

Bonus Effect: CRIT DMG 14.4% 

Skill Effect – HP increased by 20%. Additionally, provides an ATK Bonus based on 0.8% of the wielder’s Max HP. When the wielder’s HP is less than 50%, this ATK Bonus is increased by an additional 1% of Max HP.

2. Primordial Jade Winged-Spear

Base Attack: 48

Bonus Effect: Crit Rate 4.80% 

Skill Effect – On hit, increases ATK by 3.2% for 6s. Max 7 stacks. This effect can only occur once every 0.3s. While in possession of the maximum possible stacks, DMG dealt is increased by 12%.

3. Deathmatch

Base Attack: 41

Bonus Effect: CRIT Rate 8.00% 

Skill Effect – If there are at least 2 enemies nearby, ATK is increased by 16%. If there are less than 2 enemies nearby, ATK is increased by 24%.

Rosaria Best Artifacts Build

1. Noblesse Oblige

• Elemental Burst DMG +20%.
• Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.

2. Blizzard Strayer

• Cryo DMG Bonus +15%
• When a character attacks an enemy affected by Cryo, their CRIT Rate is increased by 20%. If the enemy is Frozen, CRIT Rate is increased by an additional 20%.

3. Pale Flame

• Physical DMG +25%
• When an Elemental skill hits an opponent, ATK is increased by 9% for 7s. This effect stacks up to 2 times and can be triggered once every 0.3s. Once 2 stacks are reached, 2-set effect is increased by 100%

Rosaria Passive Talents

Night Walk (Unlocked Auomatically)

At night (18:00 – 6:00), increases the Movement SPD of your own party members by 10%.

Does not take effect in Domains, Trounce Domains, or Spyral Abyss. Not stackable with Passive Talents that provide the exact same effects.

Regina Probationum (Unlocked at Ascension 1)

When Rosaria strikes an opponent from behind using Ravaging Confession, Rosaria’s CRIT Rate increases by 12% for 5s.

Shadow Samaritan (Unlocked at Ascension 4)

Casting Rites of Termination increases CRIT Rate of all nearby party members (except Rosaria herself) by 15% of Rosaria’s CRIT Rate for 10s. CRIT Rate Bonus gained this way cannot exceed 15%.

Rosaria Constellation

1. Unholy Revalation (Constellation Level 1)

When Rosaria deals a CRIT Hit, her ATK SPD increases by 10% and her Normal Attack DMG increases by 10% for 4s.

2. Land Without Promise (Constellation Level 2)

The duration of the Ice Lance created by Rites of Termination is increased by 4s.

3. The Wages of Sin (Constellation Level 3)

• Increases the Level of Ravaging Confession by 3.
• Maximum upgrade level is 15.

4. Painful Grace (Constellation Level 4)

Ravaging Confession’s CRIT Hits regenerate 5 Energy for Rosaria. Can only be triggered once each time Ravaging Confession is cast.

5. Last Rites (Constellation Level 5)

• Increase the Level of Rites of Termination by 3.
• Maximum upgrade level is 15.

6. Divine Retribution (Constellation Level 6)

Rites of Termination’s attack decreases opponents’ Physical RES by 20% for 10s.
