The WWE rumor roundup for February 7, 2022, includes Shane McMahon issues, Alexa Bliss plan, Kurt Angle and More!
These are all the latest rumor roundups in pro-wrestling, which are currently afloat. So let’s have a look at the rumor roundup from WWE.
Shane McMahon was reportedly let go by WWE following all the heat against him, especially after the Royal Rumble.
Now According to Sean Ross Sapp of fightful.com, one of the issues with Shane at Royal Rumble was that the numbers got mixed up, and he also got frustrated over the fact that Randy Orton told him that he will be not be entering Shane’s theme song, so he better get out there.
A creative team member opened about Shane who tried to “openly bury Jamie Noble” and tried to book the Rumble around himself.” Not only that, McMahon was convincing, and he put himself over other wrestlers and was even fighting with people to do so.
Both Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar were unhappy with Shane after they learned Shane’s original plans for the match, which the fans never saw because it didn’t happen.
Shane O’Mac was fighting with everyone and was booking himself to be one of the last one’s to get out, and even eliminating KO and just standing toe-to-toe with everyone has the entire locker room really angry.
Alexa Bliss returned to WWE TV last month, but it was in therapy segments. It is an attempt to bring Alexa Bliss out of her Lilly stage.
According to Fightful Select, WWE has filmed 9 therapy session segments with Alexa Bliss, but it is still unknown when they will air it.
“There were nine of these segments filmed and produced, two of which have aired on WWE programming already. We haven’t been told if all of the segments will air or if they’ll double up on them to progress the story, as they seemed to this past week.”
The long term plan for Alexa Bliss is to involve in these segments.
Kurt Angle recently revealed that WWE wanted him to make a brief return to TV on his podcast show, but that plan is apparently nixed now. Instead, he talked about Royal Rumble PPV and revealed that he was in the arena for the show.
“We went to the Rumble, and I also did some documentary interviews a day before [and] a photo op with the fans. But I want to make it clear, I’m not signed with the WWE. They weren’t gonna sign me anyway. It was gonna be a three-week program. It got cancelled”, “but you know my obligation is to the show — the Kurt Angle show, and that’s it.”
He also revealed that he doesn’t deal with the company anymore.
According to Wrestling Observer, Mexican Wrestler Laredo Kid has signed a deal with Impact Wrestling. The AAA World Cruiserweight Champion confirmed the news to both Lucha Libre Online and Paltrocast with Darren Paltrowitz.
“Yes, my goal is to fight for that belt (X Division Title) because when I started in the wrestling business, I saw all the wrestlers that go for the X Division like A.J. Styles. I think they motivated me to be a good wrestler, you know? Like training hard. When I see all the crazy moves they do, I try to do the same, you know? And training more to be there one day and when I had the opportunity to be able to sign with Impact, it’s great, you know? Right now, it’s a dream to have this opportunity, then I’m going to find the X Division belt.”
