Predicted Wolverhampton Wanderers XI to face Man City in the Premier League

Wolverhampton Wanderers pulled the rabbit out of the hat as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side upset the odds to beat Liverpool 2-1 in the third round of the FA Cup.

Wolves lost their last Premier League game 2-0 to Crystal Palace and they will be up against it once again when they make the trip to the Etihad to face Manchester City on Monday night.

The Citizens reinvigorated the title race with a 2-1 victory over Liverpool before a 9-0 demolition of Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side were held to a 1-1 draw away from home by Wolves earlier in the season and they cannot afford to take things granted heading into this fixture.

Team News

Nuno Espirito Santo has no injuries to contend with for this clash and he will be expected to make some minor alterations to the eleven that played in the FA Cup against Liverpool.

4. Ryan Bennett (RCB)

The Englishman has done a fantastic job at the back alongside Coady and Boly and should be amongst the starters for this one as well.

The Spaniard played on the right against Liverpool in the FA Cup but he will be expected to return to his preferred left wing-back role on Monday.
