Newcastle United will travel to Craven Cottage on Sunday to play their final game of the season against Fulham.
The Magpies have done more than enough to avoid relegation and Rafael Benitez should be delighted with his team’s effort. They will look forward to getting all three points on Sunday after a valiant 3-2 defeat against Liverpool in the last game.
Fulham, meanwhile, are going back to the Championship after a miserable season in the top-flight. They’ll look to finish things on a happy note in front of their fans.
Fabian Schar got injured against Liverpool and remains doubtful for Sunday’s clash.
Dubravka is the first-choice goalkeeper at the club and will start against the Cottagers, barring an injury.
Manquillo has done well since replacing the injured Yedlin on the right-hand side. The Spaniard, however, will start at right-back instead of right wing-back at the weekend.
With Lejune out for the season and Schar injured, Lascelles will have to organise his backline well against Fulham.
Fernandez has been an inconsistent performer all season, but he’ll look to end the campaign by helping his team to clean sheet.
Ritchie has done a brilliant job in a makeshift role in the left-hand side of the rearguard. He should continue to do so.
Kenedy has endured a very poor season, failing to make an impact at all. However, he could be handed a start in the final game.
Hayden has been fantastic since the turn of the year, impressing with his all-action displays in midfield. He is a certain starter at Craven Cottage.
A very hard-working player, the South Korean has formed a good partnership with Hayden in central midfield. He should keep his place in the team.
Atsu may not be the most technically-gifted players, but his effort and work rate make him such a perfect under Benitez.
Perez suddenly burst into life and has been the Magpies’ best player since the past couple of months.
