Chelsea vs Burnley Ratings: Chelsea Player Ratings + Twitter Reaction
Chelsea were unable to finish off a rather stubborn Burnley side on the night as the game at Stamford Bridge between the two sides ended 2-2. Burnley took the lead early through a blistering Jeff Hendrick volley before Chelsea equalised through N’Golo Kante.
Chelsea took the lead soon after with a brilliant Gonzalo Higuain striker before another set-piece led to Chelsea’s downfall as some shoddy defending left Ashley Barnes with the entire goal to win for. Chelsea missed the chance to go up to

Kepa Arizzabalaga 7
Couldn’t have done much about either goal but looked assured when he was require come and collect the ball.
Cesar Azpilicueta 7
Bombarded down the right-flank in the first half and got himself an assist for Higuain’s goal as well.
Andreas Christensen 7
The Dane showed excellent composure under pressure and is only going grow from here considering his potential.
David Luiz 7
A defensively sound display by the Brazilian but the Blues were undone by two badly cleared set-pieces.
Emerson 7
Showed excellent movement on the left flank and provides a lot more defensive cover than Marcos Alonso.
Jorginho 6
He did show composure on the ball at times but didn’t have any real affect of the course of the game.
N’Golo Kante 7
Got the Blues’ equaliser but was substituted at half-time as Chelsea began to push to try and find a winner.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek 7
Did superbly well in the middle of the park by controlling the pace of the game and spreading the ball around well.
Eden Hazard 7
Was fantastic in the first half but really struggled to get back into the game in the second period of the tie.
Gonzalo Higuain 7
Showed good movement right from the start and scored an absolute screamer of a goal with help from Azpilicueta.
Callum Hudson-Odoi 6
The youngster did put himself about though didn’t have much impact and was taken off injured in the first half.

Came on in place in CHO in the first half and never really offered the Blues any attacking potency whatsoever.
Mateo Kovacic 5
Came on in place of Kante and got completely overrun by a Burnley midfield that was constantly pushing and prodding.
