Bayley didn’t have Sasha Banks by her side this week on SmackDown. The Boss was away on other duty as she continued her music career with Snoop Dogg.
Banks and Dogg are relatives, and the rapper even helped Sasha create her new theme song.
The former women’s champion has turned heel in recent weeks and has partnered Bayley for a while too.
Although Banks wasn’t by her side, Bayley did pick up a clean win over Dana Brooke. That came as a bit of a surprise, especially given that Lacey Evans didn’t make an appearance after last week.
Bayley and Banks had waylaid the Southern Belle, and The Boss wasn’t done yet.
Banks tweeted her best friend speaking out why she wasn’t at SmackDown.
The former champion further posted a picture of Dogg’s recording studio:
Banks and Bayley have been involved in a rivalry with Lacey Evans, and it will be interesting to see how things go at TLC.
Nevertheless, the champion further claimed that she wanted to also be part of the new album.
Banks hasn’t wrestled much since her return to in-ring action, but she still is one of the best.
WWE have done a decent job of turning the pair heel, and they could also be in the running for the women’s tag titles in the future.
For now, they have to be wary of the threat possessed by Evans, and it will be interesting to see how she does against Bayley for the SmackDown title.
