Find out if weather will play a deciding factor at the 2021 Saudi Arabian GP in Jeddah
After an amazing 20th race weekend of the 2021 Formula One calendar, the racing action returns this weekend for the Saudi Arabian GP. Just like the last time around at Doha, this will also be an inaugural race as Saudi Arabian GP is set to take place for the first time. The race will be held on a newly constructed Jeddah Corniche Circuit in the city of Jeddah.
As mentioned earlier, that this is the first time that Saudi Arabia is hosting a Formula One race. The teams as well as the fans are not aware of how the usual conditions are at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Which makes it really important to know the weather conditions to answer the curiosity of the fans. So, in this article we will bring you everything you need to know about the weather in Jeddah for the upcoming F1 weekend.
The weather report from Jeddah for the F1 weekend seems to be really promising and looks set there seems to be no weather intervention at the weekend. It is worth noting that the weather is usually very dry in that part of the world, nothing can be taken for granted. Take a look at the weather report below:
Day | Highest | Lowest |
Friday | Sunny, 32 °C | 22 °C |
Saturday | Sunny, 31 °C | 22 °C |
Sunday | Sunny, 31°C | 23°C |
The weather reports suggest that the conditions will stay sunny and dry for the upcoming race weekend which can give the racers a bit of headache. As the tires wear out really quickly in hot conditions and it becomes really hot inside the cockpit as well.
However, to challenge this problem, the race is set to take place at evening time (17:30 GMT). Much to the liking of the fans, they are in for an amazing Formula One weekend as the weather reports don’t give away anything that can disrupt the race from happening this weekend.
Lewis Hamilton has came in clutch to keep the hopes of winning his 8th F1 championship alive. After winning two back to back races and closing the gap to just eight points on the Driver’s championship, the Brit is ready to do the same yet again.
Max Verstappen who at one point took his lead to double digits is now the underdog to win the championship. The Dutch will have to do everything in his power to perform better than his rival at the Saudi Arabian GP.
It will be really interesting to see who walks away with victory at the Saudi Arabian GP this weekend.
