There were many matches of note. The triple threat match for the RAW Tag Team Championship featuring RK-Bro, The Street Profits, and Alpha Academy was spectacular. Edge versus AJ Styles was an instant classic since the time it was announced and it didn’t disappoint.

Cody Rhodes’ surprise debut and his captivating match with Seth Rollins is a Match of the Year contender for sure. Charlotte Flair versus Ronda Rousey was expectedly physical and worth a watch.

Unfortunately, Rick Boogs got injured in the middle of the match otherwise the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match was shaping up nicely. Logan Paul surprised everyone with his in-ring skills and thanks to his athleticism and The Miz’s veteran instincts, their match against the high-flying Mysterios turned out to be quite intriguing.

Scott Fishman is a popular name in the pro wrestling world. He recently named the match which according to the feedback he got, stole the show at WrestleMania 38. It was the RAW Women’s Championship match where Becky Lynch unsuccessfully defended the title against Bianca Belair. This match had a great build-up with animosity aplenty between the two competitors. As far as in-ring acumen is concerned, these two ladies are right at the top. Belair was fabulous in last year’s WrestleMania too. That time she had won the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Sasha Banks in another highly-acclaimed match.

The most underwhelming WrestleMania match of all time?

Roman Reigns taking on Brock Lesnar in a Title versus Title Winner-Take-All Championship Unification match was a mouth-watering prospect. Especially with the amount of history between the two competitors. However, this match was certainly not the best match of WrestleMania 38.

Roman Reigns is the undisputed Universal Champion (WWE)

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar had faced each other 7 times. 4 of them were one-on-one matches. They were brutal, fast-paced, and most importantly swung back and forth. This match was more about how Reigns could win easily. They were in such a rush to make Reigns win that they forgot that The Tribal Chief has much more than a spear and a Superman punch in his repertoire of offensive moves and the Beast Incarnate has more than just F5s and suplexes.

Even the finish of the match had no glamour as Lesnar picked Reigns up for F5 but the latter slipped away to deliver a spear to win. The only jaw-dropping moment was when Reigns speared Lesnar on the outside and both men fell crashing through the barricade. Other than that there was nothing of note.
