Sentinels’ 39daph recently received a strange ban on Twitch, only to be unbanned within a mere 33 minutes. Check out more details below!
Being one of the leading streaming platforms in the world, Twitch has a very strict ban policy. However, there ahve been instances when the platform has handed out bans to streamers without any apparent reason. The latest streamer to join this bandwagon was Sentinels’ Daphne “39daph.” She received the ban on September 15, but Twitch did not state any reason behind the ban.
Fortunately, the platform revoked her ban merely 33 minutes after the act, and fans rushed to her chat to celebrate her unban. Daphne even revealed what she believed was the possible reason behind her first ever Twitch ban.
Sentinels 39daph receives her first ever Twitch ban
39daph rose to fame in 2017 and has consolidated her name among the list of most popular female streamers on Twitch. With over 1.1 million followers on the platform, 39daph is popular for her ‘chill’ gameplay. Naturally, when she received a ban from Twitch, it was quite surprising for her fans.
During a September 15 livestream, Daphne was handed her first ever Twitch ban, and the reasons were not disclosed. The news became public after the official streamer ban channel, StreamerBans, took to Twitter to announce the same. The ban truly baffled the streamer’s fans since she had seemingly done nothing to receive a suspension.
However, shortly after, 39daph’s channel was unbanned by Twitch and she gained full control over it once again. As expected, fans rejoiced with the streamer and celebrated her return from her first ban on the platform. 39daph’s first ever Twitch ban lasted for a total of 33 minutes and 10 seconds.
Reason behind 39daph Twitch ban
Soon after she was unbanned on Twitch, 39dpah took to Twitter to state the possible reason behind her ban. The popular Sentinels streamer believes that she was banned for a short sexual clip in a video game she was streaming, Immortality. Twitch is rather strict about its policies against sexual misconduct on the platform, and does not hesitate to hand out bans to streamers who do not adhere by the same. However, in this case, 39daph’s ban was revoked within 33 minutes.
Daphne explained the reason behind her quick unban, stating that is was because Immortality was among the games that Twitch allowed on the platform. Naturally, since it was unfair of the platform to punish her for streaming the game, Twitch revoked her ban quite fast.
However short the ban may have been, it broke 39daph’s clean record on the platform and presented her with her first ever Twitch ban.
