He then moved to WWFC, a promotion based in Ukraine. Spivak earned three submission wins in a row to become a dominant force.

At WWFC: Cage Encounter 7 he won the vacant WWFC heavyweight championship after beating Travis Fulton via. submission in the first round.

Spivak then defended his title twice before moving to the UFC.

His UFC debut did not go as planned, as he suffered a TKO defeat in just 50 seconds, against Walt Harris at UFC Fight Night: Iaquinta vs Cowboy in May 2019. That was Spivak’s first defeat in his MMA career as well.

However, he earned a stunning submission win over Tai Tuivasa at UFC 243, before going on to lose to Marcin Tybura via. unanimous decision.

Since then, Spivak went on a three-fight winning streak. But it was snapped by the surging Tom Aspinall at UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs Till.
