Seth Rollins has a new target on WWE Raw, Aalyah Mysterio
The Monday Night Messiah, Seth Rollins, walked off during a triple threat tag match claiming he had a lot of things on his mind.
Murphy ate the loss as Angel Garza and Andrade became No.1 contenders for the tag title. However, the Messiah had something big brewing.
His revelation later on WWE Raw wasn’t something special and brought back memories of 2005. This Raw was far from a good show and there were more misses than hits.
Rollins took a shot at Rey Mysterio with some DNA test claiming that Aalyah isn’t his daughter. Aalyah Mysterio has become the latest fascination for WWE after Dominik, but this storyline has been done to death.
Eddie Guerrero brought this up on 2005 when Dominik was a child, and while that worked back then, this is a different WWE now.
Aalyah was left shocked and upset at this, but WWE certainly can do better.
Another week, another table destroyed by Nia Jax. Lana went through a table, again, and while this showed off how tough the Russian is, WWE didn’t need to do this.
There are other ways to show that Jax and Shayna Baszler are dominant tag champs. Lana going through the table seems to be some sort of punishment for her after Rusev joined AEW under the Miro name.
So, Retribution came out, had new names, fought in a sanctioned match and were offered contracts by WWE.
What is going on in the creative department of WWE? These members have destroyed a lot of property but were given money by WWE to continue doing so.
WWE could have kept them like the Shield or something and later on given them matches but they have completely wasted Retribution with this week’s show.
And what is even up with the names like Slapjack and Mace? WWE know how to waste a story.
WWE decided to have a triple threat match to challenge the Street Profits. All three teams were almost picked up randomly.
Andrade and Garza seemed to be over last week but were back to fight. Dominik Mysterio teamed up with Humberto Carrillo, despite the pair not having a lot of time together, and the final team was Rollins and Murphy.
This was proof that there is a severe lack of options for tag teams on Raw, and they could have just put Andrade and Garza vs the Profits for Clash of Champions rather than going in this way.
Shane McMahon tried his best to amp up Braun Strowman vs Dabba Kato for Raw Underground.
While he couldn’t achieve that it was great to see two men fight at Underground.
The segment of Raw still needs work but it was certainly entertaining to finally see Strowman do something else but this was a small hit in an otherwise shoddy show.
Zelina Vega might not win the title from Asuka at Clash of Champions, but she is trying her best.
The former TNA tag champion is decent in the ring and tried to get the better of Asuka as the champ fought Peyton Royce.
This is an interesting take on Vega’s character as she has been mostly a manager in her WWE career. La Muneca trying to take out Asuka wasn’t a highlight too, but there were slim pickings on Raw.
