Predicted 4-2-3-1 Liverpool XI to face Arsenal in the Premier League

Liverpool claimed all three points last week with a 4-1 victory over Cardiff City in the Premier League. The Reds are yet to be beaten in the Premier Let this term and sit 2nd in the standings, just behind Manchester City on goal difference.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s men will have a tough battle in their hands when they make the trip to the Emirates to face Arsenal on Saturday.

Arsenal’s eleven-game winning streak was brought to an end by Crystal Palace as the Gunners were held to a 2-2 draw away from home. Unai Emery’s men will be looking to continue their unbeaten run after a 2-1 triumph over Blackpool in the Carabao Cup.

Team News

Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson are unlikely to recover in time to face Arsenal at the weekend. Apart from that, Klopp will have the entire squad of players at his disposal for selection.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Jurgen Klopp

Predicted XI

Alisson Becker (GK)

The Brazilian has been in fine form between the sticks for the Reds this season.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)

The youngster has established himself as one of the best young talents in the Premier League and there is no reason why Klopp should bench him.

Joe Gomez (CB)

He has put in numerous solid shifts at the back for the Reds and has looked comfortable in possession.

Virgil van Dijk (CB)

The Dutchman has been the mainstay of Liverpool’s backline ever since his arrival in January. He is more of an automatic selection for Klopp.
