Shaquille O’Neal is a well-known family man and people close to him say that his life revolves around his siblings but most people don’t know a lot about Shaq’s siblings.
Shaq’s siblings: Who are they?
O’Neal has three siblings, Ayesha, Jamal and Lateefah O’Neal. The most well-known of them is Ayesha because of her battle with cancer and subsequent passing away from the illness in 2019. Ayesha always talked about Shaquille fondly and wrote a section in his book “Shaq Talks Back” recalling memories from their childhood in Germany and how Shaq would entertain and take care of his three siblings.
Not much is known about the other two siblings apart from their names. Shaq has considered himself the man of the family ever since his father passed away and has been making sure his family is well provided for and taken care off. How many children does Shaq have?
Shaquille O’Neal had a large family while growing up and that has not changed in adulthood. Shaq has a total of six kids. Shaq had his first child Taahirah O’Neal with ex-girlfriend Arnetta Yardbourgh, Taahirah was born shortly after they broke up.
He then had four biological children during his relationship and subsequent marriage to Shaunie O’Neal. These children are Shareef, Amirah, Sharif and Me’arah O’Neal. In addition to that he raised and took care of Shaunie’s son from a previous relationship Myles B. O’Neal. He also looks after his nieces and nephews whenever necessary.
