The Irish wrestler watched the Reds beat City with two of his pets

Sheamus hasn’t wrestled much for the WWE since WrestleMania. The Irish star has been out with an injury but that hasn’t stopped him from being active on social media.

The Celtic Warrior is a huge Liverpool fan and has been pictured supporting them in the past too.

Sheamus is a former WWE champion and did well with Cesaro as part of The Bar. The pair won several tag team titles too but have been split thanks to the draft.

The Bar even had a pop at a Manchester crowd during an old WWE taping as they wore Liverpool jerseys and came out to the ring (h/t Sky Sports).

Liverpool were in action during the weekend in a top-of-the-table clash against Manchester City.

The Reds had the chance to open a nine-point lead should they have defeated their rivals.

Liverpool missed out on the Premier League crown to City last season but won this clash 3-1 at Anfield.

Sheamus was up early in the morning to watch his favourite team in action. The Celtic Warrior shared a picture of himself with the perfect caption highlighting his love for the Reds.

The former WWE champion was watching the game with his two dogs and shared the image when the Reds were leading 1-0 in the first half.

Sheamus and Liverpool

Sheamus seems to follow the Reds a lot and apart from ripping into opposition fans, he has followed the Premier League giants to a few games too.

The Irish wrestler was in Madrid with Cesaro for the Champions League final in June against Tottenham.

It was a great evening for the Reds as they defeated Tottenham 2-0 to lift their six Champions League title.

That was a great run for the Reds as they beat Bayern Munich and Barcelona en-route to the final.

Tottenham didn’t do much in that clash, and the result was the perfect way to end a tough season.

Sheamus celebrated that win with his friends, and it will be interesting to see when he returns to in-ring action.

The Irishman is still a great singles wrestler and seeing him fight against the likes of Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns would be incredible.

Jurgen Klopp’s leadership has reinvigorated Liverpool, and they have been excellent over the past 18 months.

Sheamus could also take some points from the Reds and make an incredible return to in-ring action too.
