Starz recently debuted the horror-comedy series Shining Vale, featuring Courteney Cox as Pat Phelps who moves her family into an apparently haunted Connecticut house.

After an outstanding first season of Shining Vale was received positively by viewers, its second installment has been confirmed as well. Renewed by Starz and confirmed by its creators for premiere on Friday 13th of October; exciting first looks have already been released to mark this special event.
Shining Vale’s second season will pick up four months after Pat was discharged from a psychiatric hospital, as its protagonist must navigate family conflicts while trying to put her life back together. She may encounter supernatural threats as she explores her home’s haunted history, as well as potential tension with Terry and Gaynor.
Courteney Cox will return as Pat Phelps, an author known for her provocative women empowerment books. Cox will be joined in this role by Greg Kinnear (Terry), as well as Mira Sorvino, Gus Birney, Merrin Dungey, Dylan Gage and Judith Light, Allison Tolman and Sherilyn Fenn who appear as guest roles.
Jeff Astrof and Sharon Horgan created the show, while executive producing duties are taken care of by Dana Honor, Clelia Mountford, Aaron Kaplan and Melanie Frankel. Season one premiered in March 2022 and has already been renewed for season two!

Courteney Cox returns as Pat Phelps in Season 2 of Jeff Astrof and Sharon Horgan’s darkly comic horror-comedy series “Vampire Diaries,” created by Jeff Astrof and Sharon Horgan. Season one followed a dysfunctional family who moved into a Victorian mansion in Connecticut before beginning to notice strange happenings therein; Pat became infected by Rosemary, the spirit of a murdered nurse; however, during Season two her condition worsened and eventually she was admitted into psychiatric care due to being possessed by Rosemary herself!
