Is Alexa Bliss Sister Abigail or is The Fiend playing games?
Alexa Bliss and The Fiend ended last week’s SmackDown in an interesting moment with the Goddess passing out after a Mandible Claw.
They were back again but another interesting moment took place. That was a huge positive from this week’s SmackDown but there were a few misses too.
Misses
1) Riddle me this
WWE decided to mix two storylines into one by bringing Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, Baron Corbin, Shorty G and Matt Riddle together.
It led to some weird DQ matches on this week’s show and more confusion than anything else. Sheamus attacking Corbin and G, Riddle enjoying this and more, it just didn’t seem to flow as smoothly as it could have.
While all the five had some skin in the game, the segments all failed to click and felt a little rushed.
2) Strowman’s target
Braun Strowman spoke via the giant screen and claimed he had no feelings for her as she sat with The Fiend.
However, he also spoke about destroying The Fiend and he came out a different man. While Strowman is great in the ring and his promos have improved, this didn’t really cut it. The rivalry between the Fiend and Strowman should be more but this just hasn’t hit the same heights as it can.
Hits
1) Sister Bliss
Alexa Bliss and The Fiend met again in the ring but this time a different outcome took place. She wasn’t scared of The Fiend and even touch his face.
This could be a sign that she is ready to become Sister Abigail or Bliss could be a vessel for Abigail.
Bliss might also be hurt by Strowman not having feelings for her, and this could lead to some interesting segments.
2) Here’s Tucky
Otis being a singles competitor didn’t cut it and handing him the Money in the Bank briefcase was a questionable move at the time.
However, having Tucker by his side is certainly a good move as Heavy Machinery was back in tag action this week.
Otis and Tucker should get more airtime in the coming weeks, and with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville fighting, there should be more fun segments in the works.
3) Retribution is here
SmackDown saw an attack by Retribution and this time they were more ruthless as they trashed the place.
Retribution made some small steps on Raw but this was completely different. The faction felt like they wanted to make more than a point.
They looked dangerous and brought out a chainsaw to destroy the ring. We don’t know why the members are, but they might be the next big thing on WWE.
