Alberto del Rio tried to share his side of the story regarding the abuse of former partner Paige, but Sonya Deville and Renee Young were not having any of it
WWE star Paige recently opened up on the abuse she received during her time with Alberto del Rio.
Del Rio, a former WWE Champion, has been on a bit of a slide in recent weeks as he was arrested.
The former champion was released by WWE a while back but was in a relationship with Paige. The WWE star opened up on how much she was hit by Del Rio. She was speaking to GAW TV and claimed that Del Rio assaulted her on a regular basis:
“It’s like it’s up to 6, 7 hours a day you’re literally trapped in a certain room and getting your ass beat every couple of minutes, you know what I mean?”
However, Del Rio was contacted by TMZ and claimed that it was Paige who was abusive in the relationship:
“I would say Raya, why? Why? Why are you doing this Raya? And, I’m not calling you Paige because you were never Paige to me, you were Raya.”
“Why would you hurt me in a moment like this?”
The report added that Del Rio was considering taking the legal route and filing a defamation cause against his former partner.
Young and Deville don’t believe Del Rio
The wrestling universe was completely on Paige’s side regarding this and some even called for Del Rio not getting more publicity out of this.
Del Rio is already in deep waters regarding another case, and a couple of stars hit out at the former champion.
Renee Young, who isn’t with WWE any more, didn’t mince her words regarding Del Rio. She was joined by Sonya Deville, who is still with WWE but isn’t featuring on TV since losing to Mandy Rose a while back.

Deville also had a hard time recently as her house was broken into after a failed kidnapping attempt. Paige, who is now in a relationship with Ronnie Radke, also had a scary moment when a stalker reached her home.

However, Radke kept hold of the person before the police arrived and sorted things out.
