Sonya Deville started training and competing in mixed martial arts at the age of 16. Berenato appeared on WWE Tough Enough in the year 2015 and became one of the thirteen finalists. Later in that same year, Daville signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to NXT.
She made her in-ring debut on December 3, where she squared off against Nia Jax. Berenato’s first television appearance was under her real name on NXT. She competed in a six-woman tag team match with Mandy Rose and Alexa Bliss, where they defeated Carmella, Liv Morgan, and Nikki Cross.
In 2017, she moved to the main roster and performed on Monday Night Raw. Berenato took part in the first-ever all-women’s PPV, WWE Evolution Battle Royal but lost the match.
Later, Deville joined Mandy Rose and Paige as a part of a team called Absolution. However, the group split and faced each other in a Loser Leaves match at WWE Summerslam 2020.
Deville lost the game and had to leave WWE- although the management did this to give Berenato some time off. She currently appears on the WWE main roster show (Raw and Smackdown) as an authoritative figure.
She returned to WWE on January 1, 2021, and became assistant to on-screen authority figure Adam Pearce on WWE Smackdown.

Sonya Deville resides in Orlando, Florida, United States. She has two siblings. Deville was in relation with social media influencer Arianna Johnson till 2020.
Now it isn’t clear whether they are still together or not, as it is seen that johnson’s social media post doesn’t feature Deville in it. It was also said that Deville also had relationships with fellow wrestlers like Christina Heath, Zahra Schreiber, and Mandy Rose.
