Are you aware of Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection server issues? Can you join the queue now? Find out everything.
Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, the third-person shooter game has been launched finally. The collection features Star Wars Battlefront I and II with additional content, maps, bonuses, and more.
With much anticipation and hype, Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection was released for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. As soon as the game launched, fans of Star Wars Battlefront vented out their frustration and disappointment on social media.
The hype for Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection was surreal. Players can join in a 64 player multiplayer mode, explore the Hero Assault Mode as Star Wars heroes, fight against villains in Jabba’s Palace maps and more. The Online Multiplayer mode has a severe bug and this has caused a major issue for players. The Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection server crashed and fans were unable to join the queue.
Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection features a 64-player mode and there are only 3 servers for more than 9,000 players on Steam. The game opened to negative responses as fans and critics were quick to share their frustration on social media pages. Even the multiplayer mode in Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection has a bug and players are unable to progress in the campaign.
The makers, Aspyr, quickly addressed the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection server bug and added more servers. Players who joined the multiplayer mode of Star Wars Battlefront were not able to spawn or pick weapons during battles. When a classic shooter game gets a remastered version with promising features and content, fans will expect more. But these server bugs have ruined players’ experience with bad gameplay.
Every time the bug appeared, players had to relaunch the game on steam. Battles of SW: Battlefront didn’t last more than 3 minutes and this is another major bug. The other drawbacks are missing cutscenes, poor controls, and limited split screen. With much hype and buzz, the launch of the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection has been a flop.
The low player count is something that was not expected from makers of Star Wars Battlefront who have produced classic games over the years. Server bugs mostly occur due to corrupted game data files or multiple logins at a time. A game like Star Wars Battlefront with massive hype should have been planned better and got a smooth release.
Developers of Star Wars Battlefront could have planned for multiple open beta tests or tried other things like reducing the matchmaking to avoid these problems. The goal for the developers should improve the player’s experience and provide the best with the following updates.
The price for the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection is $35 and this is huge for a game that’s 20 years old. With Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection server bugs and other in-game issues, players are asking for a refund or discount.
