Steve Douglas Kerr started his basketball career being a member of the USA Basketball team with Arizona that competed in the FIBA World Championships in Spain in 1986 for five years. Steve Kerr then stepped into NBA in 1988, when he was selected by the Phoenix Suns. He was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers the next year. He signed a contract with the Bulls in 1993 thus teaming up with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. With Bulls, he won three back-to-back championships from 1996 to 1998. He was a crucial player in the Bulls’ 1997 NBA Finals victory against the Utah Jazz.
