WWE Superstar Kevin Owens provides an update on his latest injury following Monday Night Raw
Monday Night Raw saw Kevin Owens pinning the WWE United States Champion Damian Priest. He became the first in a singles competition since The Archer of Infamy’s main-roster debut last year.
Owens’ win was significant since he outwitted the opponent using an “injured leg” technique. In addition, Owens provided an injury update when a fan jokingly asked on Twitter about his injury.
Kevin mentioned that his legs were getting better, but he would keep fighting.
His Tweet read:
“Still quite tender but I am slowly getting better and I will just keep fighting!”
Owens’s character has taken things to another level, especially after his re-signing. Since his involvement in the WWE title feud in December, he has been in prominent spots.
Kevin Owens defeated United States Champion on Monday Night Raw
Owens hosted the KO Show with Seth Rollins as his guest, but he was interrupted by the United States Champion Damian Priest, which led to a non-title match.
KO used an Eddie Guerrero technique of faking a leg injury allowing him to hit the stunner on the distracted Priest. Thus becoming the first man on the main roster to pin Priest in singles competition.
Priest vs Owens for the US Title could be the next big thing on Raw. We all know that Priest’s momentum has taken a step back since Survivor Series. So there might be a chance that Owens becoming the next US Champion. Especially since he has resigned from WWE for a multi-year deal, the company will be looking to make the most of it.
