So this was the Streets of New Capenna Tier List. You can choose the cards from the S tier as they are the most powerful cards in the game. The tier list can be different from what you were expecting but it’s worth your time so try out and see which cards are the best for you.
In card games, drafting refers to the selection of cards from a limited pool, usually from the top of the deck, to gain a temporary advantage or assemble a hand of cards to meet game objectives. So here are some points that will help you in drafting.
If you find the correct lane to be in in the draft, both cards, and the fixing will end up in your hand. Fixing is abundant, so if you find the correct color lane to be in, you’ll be able to get both cards and the fixing. It’s pack three and you have no fixing lands, so get your first one before anything else. Most decks have two colors and a third color splash for power cards. Make sure that the cards in your deck have a purpose before playing the third color.
When it comes to the draft, signaling is very important. Don’t diamond hand your early picks until you see a stronger signal later in the pack. In a world where Brokers are widely acknowledged as one of the best colors to be in, it’s important to find out where you can still gain advantages.
It is also important to draft a deck that destroys the best deck out there. Grixis control is a strong counter to all of the Bant decks, and two of the colors won’t pose too much of a problem. In order to get the most out of your deck, you should build a blue-black control deck splashed with red rather than a Rakdos sacrifice deck splashed with blue.
As of now, winning the tempo game seems like the best option. It is important to remember that both aggressive and control decks can suffer hard punishment if they stumble early. This creates an interesting tension between the number of fixing lands you can run. Without enough fixing, you will never be able to cast your spells. Having too many fixing will put you behind because everything comes into play tapped.
The following cards are not recommended for drafting:
So this is everything you need to know from our Streets of New Capenna Draft guide. Follow the guide carefully and you will definitely become the best among others.
