A plethora of announcements were made during the latest Summer Game Fest. Here’s what you can expect in 2023,
Spider-Man 2
Spiderman game is always an amazing experience. The much awaited Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is going to be launched on October 20, 2023. Earlier the gameplay glimpse was launched and right now the makers have confirmed the release date at the Summer Game Fest. Spider-Man 2 is exclusive to PlayStation 5. Explore the open world of New York and play as Morales and Parker. Complete new quests and run away with all rewards and cosmetics.
Fortnite x Transformers
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 or otherwise called Fortnite Wilds is live already. A new cinematic trailer was launched and it has also confirmed a collaboration between Fortnite x Transformers. A brand new Crossover event between Fortnite x Transformers is expected to take place real soon. There will be plenty of quests and you can get your hands on all-new Transformers skins and cosmetics on the Fortnite item shop.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming to PlayStation 5 and the makers Square Enix have confirmed that the game is exclusive to PlayStation 5. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
An unexpected announcement at the Summer Game Fest 2023 was a new release from the Prince of Persia franchise. Another game from the epic series is coming after 13 years. Prince of Persia, the Lost Crown will take place in a mythological Persian world. Unleash your skills and explore the world and space. Fight against warriors and save the world from enemies. Play as the Prince and dominate the magical world.
Conquer territories and bash enemies. Defeat all time-corrupted enemies and mythological creatures in an epic combat. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown from Ubisoft will be launched on Jan 18, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Amazon Luna.
Sonic Superstars
A new side scrolling Sonic game from Sega is coming in 2023. Sonic Superstars, a 2D classic Sonic game where you can play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose. In this Sonic high-speed action platforming game, you have to explore the Mythical Northstar islands and unravel all emerald powers to tackle enemies. You can play with 3 of your friends in the game’s co-op multiplayer mode. Sonic Superstars will be launched in Fall 2023.
Mortal Kombat 1
Mortal Kombat 1, the fighting adventure from NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games is getting released on September 19, 2023. An exclusive gameplay trailer was shown at the Summer Game Fest 2023. The game also incorporates a new mechanic, Kameo Fighters, that allows you to bring in characters for assistance during fights. These characters will be from the previous Mortal Kombat franchise. Here’s the new glimpse of Mortal Kombat 1 and the game will be compatible with Xbox Series X/S, Windows, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch as well.
Alan Wake II
Alan Wake II, the survival horror thriller and official sequel to Alan Wake from the team of Epic Games Publishing and Remedy Entertainment is coming on October 17, 2023. A new gameplay trailer featuring the primary characters of the game has been launched. You can play either as Alan or Saga Anderson. The game has two single-player stories and you can start with any of these characters.
Alan Wake has to overcome a nightmare and his story begins in the town of Bright Falls, Washington. Again, Saga Anderson plays an FBI Agent from the Pacific Northwest and he’s also sent to Bright Falls. Anderson has to investigate numerous murders and there is a twist when she gets caught in a supernatural horror story that’s written by Alan Wake. Here’s the new glimpse,
Star Trek Infinite
Star Trek Infinite, the strategy action game from Paradox Interactive has been announced. Many iconic Star Trek characters were also shown. Check out the new glimpse here and more updates about the game will be officially announced in the coming days.
Sandland
Sandland, the open-world RPG from Bandai Namco Entertainment is gearing up for a massive launch. Here, you go on a voyage in the vast desert and the only goal is to find the hidden Legendary Spring. You will meet various people and also encounter some demons as well. Here’s the new glimpse. The game will release in the second half of 2023,
Path of Exile 2
Path of Exile 2, the official sequel to Path of Exile from Grinding Gear Games is a free-to-play action RPG. A new glimpse has been launched and more updates will be revealed by July 28, 2023 as per the trailer glimpse.
Witchfire
Witchfire, the first-person shooter from the team of The Astronauts, is coming to Epic Games Store from September 2023 in Early Access. The new trailer is here,
