Tari started his high school college career at Garfield High School under the guidance of coach Brandon Roy. The coach Brandon Roy is an ex-NBA player, who played three seasons in the NBA league. For his sophomore season, Eason transferred to Federal Way High School. His sophomore season went well for him. Then again for his senior year, he came back to Garfield. He averaged 23 points with eight rebounds and three steals per game.
Tari chose to play college basketball for Cincinnati over rejecting the offers from Colorado and USC. His freshman year at Colorado is a success for him as he averaged 7.3 points with 5.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. Good performance in his freshman year earned him the American Athletic Conference All-Freshman Team award.
Eason entered the 2022 NBA draft, and he was drafted by the Houston Rockets the 2022 draft. After the draft, he was assigned to play in the 2022 NBA Summer League.
