We are getting the 12.3 update for Team Fight Tactics with some balance changes and reworks that will hopefully make the game better.
Riot Games created and distributed Team Fight Tactics (TFT), an auto battler game. The game is a League of Legends spinoff based on Dota Auto Chess, in which users build a team and compete online against seven other opponents to be the last one remaining. In June 2019, the game was published as a League of Legends game mode for Microsoft Windows and macOS, then in March 2020, it was released as a standalone game for Android and iOS, with cross-platform play.
The majority of the main nerfs and bonuses were implemented in the 12.2 B-patch, with a few others in TFT Patch 12.3. Instead of making entertaining adjustments to the final update of Set Six, the team concentrated on TFT Set 6.5 Neon Nights, which will be released soon.
Five new traits were added, while two others were adjusted (Socialite and Colossus). Over 20 new champions and over 80 Hextech Augments have been added to the Set 6.5 roster. The PBE for Set 6.5 Neon Nights will go live on February 1st, with the official release on February 14th.
Patch 12.3 will feature a significant change to the Tome of Traits system.
The TFT balance team has removed Prismatic Crown and Soul Augments as a second or third choice unless a player has the first trait tier active, preventing players from drawing a dead Hextech Augment as a third option.
The only exceptions are when a Mutant Crown is offered with two Mutant units in play and when a Mercenary Crown is offered with two Mercenary units in play.
Sunfire Board has been upgraded by extending the burn time to 10 seconds and raising the health percentage. Exiles were nerfed at levels one and two, while Thrill of the Hunt’s heal was raised at levels one and two.
Only the Socialite and Bodyguard traits were adjusted in TFT Patch 12.3.
A big balance change was applied to Runaan’s Hurricane, reducing the additional bolt attack damage scaling.
Players can expect to see these changes as soon as the 12.3 update is released for Team Fight Tactics. This is a minor update compared to the regular ones. But these balance changes and reworks will improve the game a lot.
