Japanese tennis star Kei Nishikori is married to his long-time girlfriend Mai Yamachi since 2020. The Japanese couple celebrate their marriage on December 24 and last week, they celebrated two years of their marriage. Nishikori and Mai tied the knot in 2020 when there were Covid-19 restrictions in place and only a limited number of guests could attend their ceremony. Hence, the Japanese couple celebrated their completion of two years together in a grand way, inviting hundreds of guests.
Nishikori himself shared the news with fans on social media. “Hello. I have a report for you all. On December 24th, I held a wedding ceremony and reception with my wife, Mai. I couldn’t hold it for a long time due to the corona misfortune. Thank you so much for celebrating with so many people… It will be a new start for us. In order to return to the world’s top stage, I’ll try hard”, the Japanese star wrote along with a picture of himself and his wife. Nishikori is currently inactive on the ATP circuit and has been out of action since 2021.
