Andy Murray has revealed a hilarious message that he sent to Roger Federer after arriving in the global superstar’s home city. Murray is in Basel, playing at the Swiss Indoors ATP 500 tournament. Here’s what the die-hard Arsenal fan texted Federer after landing in the city.

Murray apparently feels that Federer is not the biggest sporting superstar coming out of Switzerland. Well, this is what he told reporters in a brief interaction: “I messaged Roger, when I landed in Basel, and I said that I just touched down in the city of one of the world’s greatest ever athletes – Granit Xhaka.” It was on a lighter not, of course, but the fact that Murray absolutely loves the former Arsenal captain, Xhaka.
