Andy Murray was on the top of his banter game, as he trolled Piers Morgan on social media after Lionel Messi led Argentina to victory last night
Andy Murray couldn’t hold himself from taking a dig at Piers Morgan after Lionel Messi’s stunning goal earned a victory for Argentina against Mexico in Qatar. Murray tweeted a picture of Messi celebrating the goal with the caption: “Oops” and tagged Piers Morgan. It was in response to Morgan’s earlier tweet, where he trolled Messi after Argentina’s loss against Saudi Arabia.
Piers Morgan is known to be a huge Ronaldo fan and criticises Messi at every opportunity. On the other hand, Murray is a big fan of the Argentine superstar. Messi led from the front yet again last night to secure a crucial victory for Argentina and keep his side alive in the World Cup. His stunning goal from 25 yards was once again an example of his class. Murray thoroughly enjoyed it and so did other football fans across the globe.
