“Been awhile” – Andy Roddick provides update on what he has been upto during coronavirus quarantine

American Andy Roddick is a former World No.1 and 2003 US Open champion

Former World No.1 Andy Roddick updated his status via Twitter in the wake of the rising coronavirus pandemic.

The American is currently under self-quarantine at home as part of the precautionary measures required to fight the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Meanwhile, 37-year-old Roddick, an avid tweeter, decided to inform the public about his current situation via a post in his social media handle.

“Yes ………   it’s been awhile #quaratine”, Roddick tweeted with a photo of animation classic “Beavis and Butthead”.

The 2003 US Open champion via his tweet informed the public that he was spending his time in quarantine by watching the animation show “Beavis and Butthead.”

“Beavis and Butthead” is a popular show in the 90’s, it had received widespread critical acclaim for its satirical, scathing commentary on society.

Roddick has been very active in Twitter over the past couple of days informing people about the graveness of the issue and suggesting them to take necessary precautions.

“I personally know people who have it”

A few days back, Roddick had tweeted an update regarding the coronavirus situation. In the tweet, he issued a statement saying that he personally knew people, who were infected with the virus.

He also shared that a family member been tested positive:

However, the four-time Grand Slam finalist did not mention who that family member was.
