Fans wondered if there was something wrong with Andrey Rublev’s fingers
Andrey Rublev is one of the fittest athletes in the ATP circuit, but a recent picture has made fans wonder if everything is okay with the Russian. In a photo which has gone viral on social media, Rublev’s fingers are visibly weird and bendy. The photo appears to be clicked during Rublev’s latest match at Adelaide International.
Although, Rublev’s fingers look strange in the picture, there’s no cause for worry. It’s a camera angle which makes it look weird and Rublev is absolutely fit both physically and mentally. The Russian ace is currently playing at the Adelaide International warm-up event as he gears up for the Australian Open, which is scheduled to begin on January 16.
Rublev lost his last match at the Adelaide International I to Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut. He is now set to face Australia’s Thanasi Kokkinakis in Adelaide International II.
Let us take a look at some of the reactions from fans on social media.
“I love his fingers even if they are doing strange bendy things in this photo”, joked a fan.
“As someone with weird bendy fingers (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), I feel seen”, wrote another fan.
“His fingers, like every other part of him, are perfect”, read a tweet.
“His stretched out arm kinda reminds me of Lord Gulbis’ for some reason”, tweeted another fan.
Another fan wrote: “From when is this? The nike logo is so jaring on him to me now lol.”
