I’ve started the most difficult fight of my life – the fight to prove my innocence and return to the sport I love”, he wrote. It remains to be seen what the concerned authorities take action against Majchrzak, for violating anti-doping guidelines.

“There are several players that didn’t have the intention to take advantage of a specific substance. That is what WADA should really care about”, read a tweet.

Another fan wrote: “Every player gets tested +/- 20 times per year. It’s hard to believe that they knowingly take some prohibited substances accepting the risk. Especially here where his tests came positive for two consecutive months. I feel so bad for him and Halep.”
