Former tennis player Barbara Schett gave her opinion regarding the ‘GOAT race’ that involves Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer. The Spaniard currently has 22 Grand Slam titles compared to 21 and 20 that Djokovic and Federer have won respectively.

Many consider the legendary Federer out of the race as the other two have more years of tennis ahead of them. While Nadal may have a slender lead in terms of Grand Slam titles won, the former Austrian player believes that the Serbian legend Djokovic holds the edge.

The tennis expert for Eurosport expressed her opinion on one of the biggest debates in the sport and backed Djokovic to eventually come up trumps.

“If you look at Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic now, I would say Novak can still play for another two, three years, or maybe even longer. And Rafa Nadal, I think the clock is definitely ticking there,” Barbara Schett expressed as per Eurosport.
