Barbora Krejcikova watches her contemporaries in action from the stands at the WTA Finals

Some of the best players in women’s tennis are plying their trade at the ongoing WTA Finals. Barbora Krejcikova is playing in the doubles event where she is teaming up with doubles world No. 1 – Katerina Siniakova.

The 26-year-old Barbora Krejcikova might not have made the cut to compete in the singles event of the WTA Finals but she has made it a point to watch all the matches. According to tennis reporter Blair Henley, the Czech star has been seen in attendance in all the singles matches. Henley has, in fact, tweeted pictures of Krejcikova during the Aryna Sabalenka-Ons Jabeur match, the Daria Kasatkina-Iga Swiatek match, the Maria Sakkari-Jessica Pegula match, and the Caroline Garcia-Iga Swiatek match.

Krejcikova might be there to just enjoy the matches or take notes so that it could help her in the near future when she takes on these players.

How has Barbora Krejcikova fared in the WTA Finals in the doubles event?

Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova have played a couple of matches so far in the competition. They won both their matches convincingly in two sets.

The Czech duo began their campaign against Desirae Krawczyk and Demi Schuurs in their first match of the round-robin stage. Krejcikova and Siniakova won the match in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.

In the following match, Siniakova and Krejcikova got the better of the Chinese duo of Yang Zhaoxuan and Xu Yifan 6-3, 6-3 to seal a spot in the semi-final stage of the competition.

Krejcikova and Siniakova will take on the American duo of Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula in their final group game on Friday.
